We should have known from the promos that Peter Pan Live was just going to be a glorified Christopher Walken show. Sure Allison Williams grabbed headlines for her casting in the title role, but as soon as you saw footage of Walken saying “who’s…the greatest villain…of all time?” you had to know who the real star was going to be.
And Mr. More Cowbell did not disappoint last night, showing the kind of jazz hands (or, more accurately, jazz hand and hook) you would only expect from a far more experienced dancer. While he doesn’t quite appear to be as nimble on his feet as he once was, Walken can still get it.
