Marvel’s got fans eating out of its hands well into 2019, with upcoming releases like Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. But one giant Marvel comics crossover movie? That would be historic and seemingly impossible. Yet Stan Lee just hinted that the idea has been brought up.

In case you didn’t know Marvel’s superheroes are currently split up among different movie studios (Sony, Fox, Disney) and so getting this clusterfuck of superheroes together is a gigantic task. At an event yesterday a fan asked about whether or not all of the Marvel universe would be reunited, and Lee responded:

1.

"It's something that Marvel is very concerned about. It's very difficult to bring 'em all together because these characters are so successful and make so much money that the studios that have the rights don't want to let them go. So that's something that all the lawyers and all the production companies have to work out. Whether they get it worked out, I don't know."

You would think the studios would be ready to break bank, more than usual, with this guaranteed cash cow. At least, that’s how Lee sees it:

2.

"It is a shame that [Disney]- Marvel can't distribute every one of them. Because then we could put them all together ... in a movie that would make a hundred trillion dollars!"

We're not worthy of a movie with the Avengers, X-Men, and Spider-Man, but how about you give it to us anyway?
