Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was beaten to death with hammers in St. Louis early yesterday morning.

According to KMOV, 32-year-old Zemir Begic was discovered in the street just after 1 a.m. His assailants reportedly approached him while he sat in his car:

According to police, Begic was in his vehicle when “several juveniles” approached his car and began damaging it. When Begic exited his vehicle the teenagers yelled and struck him with hammers.

Begic was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. KMOV adds that two suspects, ages 15 and 16, were arrested shortly after his body was found, and police told the station that a 17-year-old turned himself in last night.
