A New Mexico woman drove the same vehicle for 13 years, totally unaware that marijuana had been stashed inside of it.
According to the Associated Press, Melodie Peil of Alamogordo, N.M. purchased the vehicle, a 1990 Chevrolet van, back in 2001. Despite years of use shuttling her daughter's children to fro, she was blind to the fact that over 13 pounds of weed had been hidden inside of one of its doors. It was finally discovered when a friend, who was fixing a broken handle, removed the door panel.
Behind the panel was five bricks of weed, which authorities care nothing about due to its age.
