Cross-brand corporate synergy has never been something to fully rally behind, but this happens to combine two interests of ours so...

Bud Light has teamed up with Bandai Namco–the owners of the Pac-Man trademark–to create a life-sized replica of a level of the famous retro title. Why? Fuck if I know, but I'm guessing it has something to do with Bud Light having more money than the Pope and Kanye put together so why not take a whole city block of Downtown LA, turn into a level from a video game your parents played, and drop a real human in the middle of it all to play Pac-Man IRL. We all know that the Super Bowl is when brands have the opportunity to be in front of a billion pairs of eyeballs and at the end of the day this is still just a continuation of Bud Light's Up For Whatever advertising campaign, but let it never be said that Bud Light doesn't have incredibly deep pockets. If you've wondered how the sausage of television commercials are made, feast your eyes on this and know somewhere Ms. Pac Man is gently weeping for her missing husband. Yay consumerism!
