It was this time Monday, that the northeast was bracing itself for the onslaught of Winter Storm Juno. Here in New York City we were instructed by Mayor de Blasio to "prepare for something worse than we have ever seen before." While areas like New England and upstate New York were hit the hardest, The Big Apple was essentially unscathed, minus a few snowed in cars and slick sidewalks, the lowlights of any winter day.

The unwarranted alerts pushed citizens to empty store shelves, leave work early, and confine themselves to their homes. We even put together a survival guide to get you through the duration. New York's Governor Cuomo, heeding reports from the National Weather Service, went as far as shutting down the subway for the first time in the city's history.

And then at some point during the "blizzard" everyone realized we had just been trolled. Luckily, we all bound ourselves to a silent agreement and stayed home from work and school as if a massive nor'easter actually occurred. Check out the video above to see the actual impact Juno had on New York.
