Scarlett Johansson Confirmed for “Captain America: Civil War”

A familiar name from the Marvel universe has been confirmed for "Captain America: Civil War."

At a press event in China today, Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe Russo confirmed what audiences had long hoped: Scarlett Johansson will be back as Black Widow in their upcoming film.

Speaking with sina.com, Anthony Russo said that “Captain America 3 is going to be called Captain America: Civil War and it’s going to star Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson will be back, Winter Soldier will be back, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man will also be joining us in the next film.”

We also know that Daniel Bruhl will be joining the cast as a villain but not the villain, and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) will also be making his Marvel debut. The movie comes out exactly 16 months from today, so there’s more than enough time for additional big names to be confirmed.
