This is probably a good sign for fans hoping the 50 Shades of Grey movie lives up to the freaknastyness of the book, but it definitely sucks for freaks in Malaysia.

The Malaysian government's Film Censorship Board has banned the film from being shown in theaters there. According to Malaysia news site The Star Online, the board's chairman said the film was more like "pornography than a movie" and that the sex scenes were "sadistic" and not "natural."

But they cut out the tampon scene!
