BitTorrent, the software company that makes it easy for you to steal music and movies, is going to start producing its own original content. Today the company announced a partnership with Rapid Eye Studios to "identify, produce, and distribute" its own original content. The videos will be exclusively available on BitTorrent for 30 to 60 days before being released to other platforms.
Last year BitTorrent announced its first project, a series called Children of the Machine. The sci-fi show will begin filming this Spring, and more BitTorrent originals will be announced soon. BitTorrent previously partnered with Thom Yorke and Madonna to release their music.
