Could "Happy Endings" Be Coming Back Somehow?

A mysterious tweet has fans wondering if "Happy Endings" could somehow be coming back.

None

One of the most criminally underrated shows on TV in the past decade died a quiet death in 2013, but a mysterious tweet has fans freaking out that Happy Endings might somehow be back.

The tweet came from the shows official account and was a simple link with no explanation or context.

1.

When you follow that link, you land on a page with reading "It’s almost a new day" with a countdown clock that will strike zero on March 31.

We have no idea what this means, but considering that some of Happy Endings' original cast, including Damon Wayans Jr. (New Girl) and Adam Pally (The Mindy Project) recently announced that they're leaving those shows, people are running wild with ideas.

Adding more fuel to the fire, the Happy Endings Twitter account quickly followed Yahoo Screen, Netflix and Amazon after the mysterious tweet, three streaming services that could potentially revive the series (although Netflix says nope).

Happy Endings also starred Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton and Casey Wilson. It lasted for three seasons, before ABC made the hated decision to cancel it.

The show was basically a quirky, 20 or 30-somethings hanging out sitcom in the vein of New Girl. There was some kind of plot, but people loved it because it was basically a hilarious pop culture one-liner comedy machine.
