A woman looking to move some drugs in New Mexico made the grave error of accidentally calling the police to do it.

The Associated Press reports that Renea Lucero of Albuquerque was taken into custody last Wednesday after mistakenly calling an detective with the Albuquerque Police Department instead of one her clients. According to KOB, the detective reportedly knew the 30-year-old from a previous case, and arranged a bust after she asked if he was interested in procuring some cocaine or heroin

He called for backup, and officers arranged to meet Lucero at San Mateo and Gibson for the deal. When they met up, the detective says Lucero pulled the heroin out of her bra and handed it to her driver, Luciano Navarro.

After completing the $30 transaction, Lucero, Navarro, and another woman in the vehicle were arrested on drug-related charges. KOB adds that Lucero told police she was just trying to hustle some gas money together to make it to Los Lunas. Gas money is now the least of her worries.
