From Game of Thrones to her Broadway debut in Breakfast at Tiffany's, Emilia Clarke hasn't shied away from nudity. A report in 2013 said she refused to do more nude scenes on Game of Thrones, but an HBO insider shot down the rumor. Now we've heard she's done getting naked straight from the source, as she told THR she passed up on a chance to star as Anastasia Steele in the two-hour-long nude scene Fifty Shades of Grey.
"I’d done nudity before and was concerned with being labeled for doing it again," she said.
Her busy schedule also prevented her from playing Edward Snowden's girlfriend in Snowden, which is currently filming. She'd already signed on to do Me Before You, a tear-jerking book adaptation set to release next year, and her GOT commitment wouldn't allow her to do both films. "My heart was broke," Clarke said.
