File this away into the "things that (might) go bump in the night" folder: Matt Bomer will co-star with Lady Gaga in American Horror Story: Hotel. Bomer's involvement was announced Sunday night at the FX show's PaleyFest panel. "I can't confirm or deny that there may be a romantic relationship," Bomer said about his role alongside Gaga, to the Paley audience—but he added that he is ready to get crazy: "I'm down. I only got to tip my toes in the freaky-deaky nature. I'm ready to go in the deep end, baby." He didn't reveal what type of freaky character he'll be playing.

While Bomer, LG, and Cheyene Jackson are checking into HotelJessica Lange will be checking out for the fifth installment of the series. "I'm done," she said at PaleyFest. “We’ve had a great run here. I mean, I absolutely love doing these four characters, and in all the madness, I love the writers and Ryan (Murphy) and the insanity of shooting it,” Lange told a full theater.

During her four seasons on American Horror Story, Lange played an old-fashioned Southern belle in season one, a nasty nun in American Horror Story: Asylum, a dominant witch in Coven, and a German carnival ringleader in the most recent Freak Show. And what does she have to show for it? Two Emmys, a Golden Globe, and a SAG Award. So she's certain had a good stay—and she will leave the franchise haunted.

Hotel will begin airing in October. Lange will be missed, but the fresh blood (and hotel setting) is exciting.
