Thaddeus is 38, he has no job, and his wife left him. In a depression he let his beard grow out, and put on some of those extra-fun pounds. After really letting himself go, he realized that he looked like Alan, the most popular member of The Wolfpack in The Hangover films (played by Zach Galifianakis). Living in Philadelphia, Thaddeus went to Atlantic City to see if he could make any extra money off of looking like a character in a popular comedy.

Atlantic City was lucrative enough that in 2011, he flew to Las Vegas, set up shop at the Hooters Hotel, purchased an animatronic baby, and animatronic monkey, and says that he makes $250,000 partying on the strip with tourists, making out in limousines with babes, and drinking himself into a stupor. He maintains that he doesn't ask for money, people just give it to him because they see him and they immediately are hiring him to party with them. He even was Zach's body double in The Hangover Part III

"I am covered in alcohol and sweat—not even my own," Thaddeus told The Daily Mail. "I get great reactions from tourists from Dubai and the Middle East—they are very generous with their money," he said, comparing all the various tourist cultures. "The Europeans are super friendly and supportive and love to take me partying. The Australians are wild and just go all day and night drinking, and I feel that part of the job is keeping up with them."

Thaddeus said he is often asked to dinner or a night club. "It is a fantastic experience dipping into people's lives like that," he said. But how long can a hard-partying dude who no longer resembles the slimmer Galifianakis coast on this association? Thaddeus thinks he has "a few more years left" but complains that it's not all so easy being Alan. "It's hard on my liver and sleep patterns."

At some point, Thaddeus will experience another life hangover. But right now he's going to party, puke, repeat. "It's been an unbelievably great ride," he said.
