Because Zach Galifianakis and Kristen Wiig robbing a bank and getting away with $17 million in cash is totally believable... But get this-it's actually based on a true story. In Masterminds, Galifianakis plays an armored truck driver living a monotonous life when his work crush (Wiig) gets him involved in a heist scheme. He eventually gets pinned as the scapegoat and has to run from the cops and a hit man (Jason Sudeikis). The upcoming film is directed by Napoleon Dynamite's Jared Hess and will probably be your typical mediocre summer comedy.
Owen Wilson, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Ken Marino, Devin Ratray and Kevin J. O'Connor co-star in Masterminds out in theaters August 7.
