Paper Towns is coming out in theaters soon, and Ansel Elgort has a few words of wisdom for the film's star Nat Wolff on how to handle the avalanche of fans that will befall him.

Elgort has experience dealing with hordes of people who are obsessed with him, because like Wolff, he starred in a movie based on a very successful young adult novel by John Green. The Fault In Our Stars became wildly successful in its own right, and that's what launched Elgot to stardom and accidental douchebaggery

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Elgort had this advice on fans: "My thing with fans is, it's always about being really good to them, and taking the time to take every picture. If there are 300 people, you should take 300 pictures — you shouldn't take 250 because then fifty people will go home sad. Why would you do that?"

Why would you do that, Nat Wolff? It's so selfish, really. Elgort went on to say that he knows how hard it can be to be someone's favorite person, but you have to stick it out, because it is your duty:

"That's my thing — try to be really good to the fans. I talk to them and I know they get really disappointed when their favorite people don't take the time for them. So, take the time for them."

Do you think you can do that, Nat Wolff? It is highly unlikely that you will be as good at it as Elgort, who is apparently VERY GOOD AT IT. Elgort also said he would love to see Wolff's other two films premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival, if Wolff invited him. Do it for the fans, Nate!
