'Fifty Shades' Sequels Get Official Release Dates (Updated)

The second and third films in the "Fifty Shades" franchise area coming out around Valentine's Day in 2017 and 2018.

Don't poop your pants or anything, but the Fifty Shades of Grey sequels now have official release dates. 

Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed will come out just before future Valentine's Days, on Feb. 10, 2017 and Feb. 9, 2018, Variety reported from CinemaCon. 

The first film was a giant success and grossed more than half a billion dollars even though nobody seemed to like it. 

Fifty Shades author E.L. James reportedly wanted more control over the story in the films, and it was announced earlier this week that her husband would be writing the screenplays for both sequels. 

You know what this means: you've got two years to become single or you know what you'll be doing in 2017-18. 

Update 4/24/15: Universal has announced the first teaser for Fifty Shades Darker will appear the in the Digital HD and Blu-Ray release of Fifty Shades of Grey, due May 1. Until then here's the first still shot from the upcoming teaser:
