It's called 'Captain Cosmos."

We've given up on understanding George R.R. Martin's schedule. He's too busy prepping The Winds of Winter for a 2016 release to help write Game of Thrones season six, yet somehow he has time to make a whole new show for HBO. He told Entertainment Weekly he's helping the network develop another period drama with Z Nation writer Michael Cassutt called Captain Cosmos.

Here's the official pitch: "At the dawn of the age of TV in 1949, a visionary young writer creates a science fiction series that tells stories no one else will dare to tell."

Martin also mentioned that his one regret is waiting too long to get started on The Winds of Winter. "I was red hot on the book and I put it aside for six months" he said. "I was so into it. I was pushing so hard that I was writing very well. I should have just gone on from there, because I was so into it and it was moving so fast then. But I didn’t because I had to switch gears into the editing phase and then the book tour. The iron does cool off, for me especially."

We're with you, bro. It's been too long since A Dance with Dragons. We just hope Captain Cosmos isn't too much of a distraction.
