Family Feud's bread and butter is using an overtly sexual question to set up its contestants. The prompt will be something like "What's something you wish were bigger?" and Steve Harvey will look at a contestant like they're a sexual menace to society for saying, "My husband's penis."

1.

This segment from Password, however, had zero sexual overtones, and the host's bewilderment was genuine and warranted. "Desert" was misread as "Dessert," leading the contestants down an inescapable wormhole of sexuality. The clue cookies led to bread, which led to sweet, which led to cake. One contestant finally realized the mistake and tried to bring it back to "desert," but it was too late. Camels led to girl, and a correct answer would never be found underneath the subsequent barrage of misguided eroticism.

All of this could have been avoided had the contestants remembered this simple rule: use two Rs for "dessert" because you want seconds.
