Bruce explains the importance of publicly documenting his journey, pointing to its potential to educate those who might otherwise never allow themselves to understand the difficulties facing the transgender community.

Speaking again on the issue of pronouns, Bruce tells his daughters that the male pronoun is accurate and respectful until they all meet 'her.'

In a one-on-one conversation with Scott Disick, Disick reveals he has been "naive" during his relationship with Bruce — never suspecting anything was amiss. Disick expresses regret at not looking closer, hinting that their relationship could have been stronger had he known the private struggles Bruce was facing.

Bruce calls his mother Esther to tell her his plans, a conversation which appears to have went very well. Bruce says Esther has since been doing her own research online to better understand Bruce's struggle. According to Bruce, they haven't always maintained a close relationship.

During Bruce and Kris's conversation, many tears are shed — much of them relating to the "last four or five years" of their marriage. Ultimately, the two embrace and Kris expresses her full and committed support for Bruce's transition.

Bruce jokingly admits to Kim Kardashian that he "stole" one of her outfits (and possibly some makeup).

Viewed as a companion piece to the now-iconic Diane Sawyer interview, About Bruce further documents a family united — and the inherent strength of that unity during Bruce's ongoing journey.
