Louisiana High School Teacher Arrested for Giving Weed Brownies to Students

Authorities in Louisiana arrested a now former high school teacher for providing students with weed brownies.

The Smoking Gun reports that Camille Brennan of New Orleans gave two Archbishop Hannan High School students edibles on May 1. According to NOLA.com, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office said that one girl's parents discovered this the same evening, then informed both school administration and the police. 

Per NOLA.com, the 29-year-old copped to giving the students the weed brownies on Wednesday. She also reportedly resigned from her position after police began investigating the incident. 

Brennan faces charges of narcotics distribution and delinquency of a minor, and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office told NOLA.com that she might face additional charges.
