The Sony Hack Is the Target of A New Documentary

Hopefully it won't cause another hacking.

The Sony hacking scandal was one of the biggest news stories of 2014 thanks to North Korea threatening the U.S. after they were cited as being responsible for the hack, former Sony co-chair Amy Pascal’s racist email about President Barack Obama, and then other lighthearted leaked emails. But two people don’t think North Korea is to blame, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, they’re working on a documentary about the Sony hacking to get to the bottom of it.

Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer, directors of The Square, are making the doc. Originally the duo was doing a doc about hacking, but now plan on using this event as a focus for the topic. The doc will also reportedly provide a theory for the hackers identity, maybe ultimately proving that it was an inside job, because isn’t it always?
