The Rock Is Being Eyed for ‘Big Trouble in Little China’ Remake

Because The Rock makes everything better.

If you’re planning on avoiding The Rock—or the Marvel universe—for the next few years, well, good luck with that as the former, who’s new HBO series will soon premiere, has another project lined up. This time it’s a remake of 1986 action flick Big Trouble in Little China

The Rock is set to produce and star in the film as Jack Burton, originally played by Kurt Russell, a truck driver who finds himself fighting magic and monsters in Chinatown, San Francisco. X-Men: First Class writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz are reportedly writing the script, according to sources who told the Wrap.

The Rock, currently celebrating the earth shattering success of San Andreas, will also be starring in Shazam as Black Adam.
