Dozens of ISIS Fighters Die Eating Poisoned Ramadan Meal, Say Reports

At least 45 ISIS fighters are reportedly dead after breaking their Ramadan fast with a meal laced with poison.

Around 45 ISIS fighters are dead after eating a poisoned meal in Mosul, Iraq, according to reports

Around 145 of the militants reportedly sat down to the meal to break their Ramadan fast, but only about 100 of them survived it. Reports said it's not clear if the men died of food poisoning or deliberate poisoning, but it might not be the first time ISIS fighters were targeted with poison.

There were unconfirmed reports a few months back that members of the Free Syrian Army had posed as chefs to poison an ISIS meal, killing dozens of them.

Photos of ISIS fighters sitting down for extravagant meals have been common during Ramadan, the Daily Mail reports. Meanwhile, the people living under ISIS rule in Iraq are reportedly starving.
