Is it really a Fuller House if there's one glaring vacancy in the crib, that of the Tanner family's most outspoken member? That's what fans of the most overrated sitcom ever asked themselves when Netflix announced it was indeed launching a Full House sequel series, but the Olsen twins would not be a part of it. Mary-Kate and Ashley, for their part, claim they didn't even hear about it until after the public did. The chances of the twins actually participating seemed quite low, but today at TCA Press tour Netflix representative Tom Sarandostold critics the girls are "teetering on whether or not they'll be around." My guess? You'll get them for two or three episodes. Meanwhile Michelle will be described as growing up to be a free spirit kid who's always traveling and never around.

In more exciting news, Sarandos gave an update on Marvel's Defenders, the supergroup that includes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Starting with this spring's Daredevil, each Defender will get their own solo spotlight every six months, leading up to the eventual team-up season. So expect the next drop early Fall, then? Superheroes, sitcom sequels, maybe even more Arrested Development...Netflix continues their takeover.
