After New Horizons arrived near Pluto this week we finally got a first real look at the former planet alongside its moon, Charon. This newfound information got Stephen Colbert all types of turned up. So turned up, in fact, that he decided go in for 14 minutes to discuss the discovery and have an intellectual argument with Pluto hater Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Pluto probably needs some ice for that burn but not really because all of it is pretty much made of ice anyway, I guess.
Although Tyson may not seem like the biggest fan of Pluto, he does applaud the new discovery while talking to Pluto's hypeman. "Evidently for Neil Tyson size matters," Colbert says. And it definitely seems so in the heated debate above.
