Thankfully, much of this increasingly hopeless planet agrees — adding genuine excitement to the announcement of a Kickstarter-funded documentary following Bill Nye on his (surely never-ending) quest to rebuke climate change deniers while also inspiring a youth-oriented interest in future space travel.
Filmmakers David Alvarado and Jason Sussberg are partnering with Oscar-winning producer Seth Gordon for the project, promising a "a hero at the center who needs to vanquish anti-science foes and literally change the world." The collaboration reportedly stems from a chance meeting between Alvarado and Nye during SXSW in Austin, Texas.
