A malicious company purporting to offer high-profile modeling positions for celebrity photoshoots and clothing lines is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department after one potential model reported that Amber Rose's likeness was being used to lure women into an apparent prostitution ring. Predictably, the details surrounding the company's recruitment tactics are quite troubling.

When models responded to the company's Instagram ad, they were reportedly promised that Amber Rose would be paramount in selecting the models for the various promised projects. A FaceTime meeting with Rose would then be arranged, though this meeting simply consisted of old Ustream footage of Rose struggling with a poor internet connection and eventually dropping the call.

In addition to the fabricated Amber Rose cosign, the company told interested models that arranged dates with wealthy men would lead to a more lucrative modeling career if they agreed to engage in sexual activities, according to TMZ. Though the LAPD is currently investigating, Rose is not confirmed to be involved in the investigation or (thus far) any legal action against the unnamed company.
