The Bill works in mysterious ways, as proven by his reported encouragement of Trump's presidential wishes.

If you've learned anything in your tumultuous relationship with American politics, it's this: the Clintons are unfuckwithable. The charisma-armed juggernaut couple has suffered no loss in relevance in the years since Bill's turn in the White House, a relevance greatly renewed for a new era with Hillary's current presidential campaign. Of course, this shark-ridden election season is currently centered around the general avoidance of one particular shark who is bloodying the campaign waters with a fervor unlike any other. You can't miss him, as he's the only shark with a toupée: Donald Trump.

Thankfully, Trump's antics are only directly dismantling the Republican party—a process of dismantling so brutal in its thoroughness, some have suggested that Trump is merely playing an exaggeratedly Trumped version of himself as some sort of foil for Democrats (and/or anyone opposed to someone who says things like "If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her"). Though Trump's long history of similar behavior would appear to disprove this theory, an apparent confirmation from the respective representatives of Clinton and Trump suggests otherwise.

Clinton called Trump earlier this year and "encouraged Trump’s efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party," according to the Washington Post. Clinton's representatives confirmed the call, while Trump's office says the possible Deez Nutsrunning mate was "candid about his political ambitions and his potential interest in seeking the White House during the talk."

Though no sly tactics are immediately present in either of these confirmations, allow me to refer you to Bill's recent comments on the Netflix original series House of Cards as relayed by Frank Underwood a.k.a. Kevin Spacey:

"99 percent of what you do on that show is real. The 1 percent you get wrong is you would never get an education bill passed that fast."

Well played, Bill. Well played. The thinking portion of the Trump v Everyone Else battle thanks you.
