Those dreams you had for two weeks straight after seeing Mad Max: Fury Road three times in one day about Tom Hardy bringing the classic noir comic book 100 Bullets to the big screen? Well, looks like they were quite prophetic indeed, as Hardy is reportedly developing exactly that project for New Line.

100 Bullets, which ran for 100 issues under DC's Vertigo imprint, is a decidedly philosophical take on the complementary worlds of revenge and morality. Central character Agent Graves offers those he encounters a one-shot opportunity at balanced revenge, with the narrative often exploring both the justification and the emotional unraveling inherent in such a decision.

As for Hardy's adaptation, plot details are currently nonexistent, though a script from Chris Borrelli apparently generated excitement for both DC Comics and New Line. Though Hardy is currently only attached as a producer, he is expected to assume the starring role further into development.
