The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club you do not recreate it with children. Two New Jersey daycare workers did just that with toddlers ages 4 to 6, posting the violent videos to Snapchat. Sadly it's not the first time this has happened.
Union County Prosecutor Grace Park told CBS New York the videos—recorded at Cranford, New Jersey’s Lightbridge Academy—showed:
Park said, “Most parents would be astonished by the behavior.”
The now fired employees have been identified as Erica Kenny, 22, whose voice can be heard in the snapchats, which she captioned “Fight Club,” and Chanese White, 28. Both women were charged for encouraging the fights and now face fourth degree child abuse charges. Kenny faces an additional charge for endangering a child, which is even more disturbing considering she reportedly has a child of her own, according to a former high school classmate. No children were reported seriously injured.
One mother of a Lightbridge Academy child told NJ.com she’s really freaked out about the incident saying,
Kenny could face up to five years in prison with White facing 18 months.
