In today's episode of #nightmareshit, a first grader in Nevada found a teddy bear on the playground. He promptly picked it up and was injured by one of the many drug needles hidden inside it.

The bizarre episode went down at Mark Twain Elementary School in Carson City where the young boy discovered the stuffed animal in a garbage can, police told the Nevada Appeal. After the boy was pricked by the syringe, police discovered there were a total of five needles hidden inside the bear.

One of those syringes was filled with a substance that turned out to be methamphetamine, police said, but the boy was expected to be fine. The needles were also being tested for infectious diseases, NBC News reported.

Nobody is sure where this needle-filled nightmare bear came from, and the fact that the schoolyard is shared with the city parks department for use during public events isn't going to make it any easier to figure it out.

Fingerprints couldn't be taken from the bear, but investigators were collecting liquor bottles and the trash bag for printing, and were trying to retrieve video footage of the area, police said.
