Don’t you just hate it when you can’t take the two seconds to send your friends the photos you took of them? Well, Facebook has a solution for that but there’s a big catch—it just might invade your privacy more extensively than before.

The social network is preparing launch a new Messenger feature called Photo Magic, which scans your camera roll and uses its facial recognition technology to tag you and your friends. According to the Daily Dot, the app will ask if you want to send those pics to your friends via Messenger because that’s not a precursor to Skynet at all. TechCrunch reports that the feature is already available to Android users in Australia, with an iOS version coming soon.

You will need to give it permission to do so, until the app develops a mind of its own and works to exterminate the human race.  And if you don’t wish to be tagged in these kinds of photos, head over to the "Timeline and Tagging" menu under "Settings" to opt out.
