If you had any kind of childhood, you'll remember Nickelodeon's Hey! Arnold as an eponymous animated series following a 9-year-old and his friends on their various exploits through an imagined metropolitan city. Arnold had a best friend named Gerald who generally helped him dodge the troublesome bullying of a sketchy braceface suffering delusions. It was imaginative and had sufficient character development. It was a good show.
In case you somehow missed it, the internet lost its collective shit today after somebody tweeted a photo of what the boy who voiced Arnold looks like today. A boy no longer, Lane Toran's (definitely reliable) Wikipedia page claims he's been a musician, actor, and voice actor in the years since Hey! Arnold folded. (He also helped Hilary Duff write the banger "Sweet Sixteen" off her album Metamorphosis). And if you haven't seen this man's face, please feel free to take a look below:
He speaks too:
The thirst is real today.
