A man died Wednesday after attempting a flip while break dancing and landing on his head in a French nightclub outside Paris, The Local reports.
Responders arrived to Le Gossip nightclub around 3 a.m. and resuscitated the 32-year-old man, whose name was not released, but he died later at the hospital.
Citing the French-language daily paper Le Parisien, the website reports that some of the clubbers were confused when the cops showed up to help the man, which ultimately led to police using tear gas to clear the nightclub.
"We were seen as spoilsports. People complained. Some tried to hit out at police officers, and there were insults," a source told the paper.
One 30-year-old man was arrested due to "violence and rebellion."
