The first Zoolander movie was really, really ridiculously funny so it comes as no surprise that people rushed to their computers to catch the trailer for the sequel when it dropped on Nov. 18. However, no one could have predicted that the teaser for Zoolander 2 would beat out anticipated comedies like 22 Jump Street, Hangover 3, Anchorman 2, and Trainwreck. PerDeadline, the trailer clocked in more than 52.5 million online views during its first week—the most for a comedy ever.

The 2001 film starred Ben Stiller as dimwitted but legendary supermodel Derek Zoolander, Owen Wilson as arch rival Hansel, and Will Ferrell as the poodle-haired fashion mogul Mugatu. All are set to reprise their roles in the sequel, which finds Zoolander and Hansel investigating an international plot to kill the world’s most beautiful people. Newcomers to the beloved comedy include Penelope Cruz, Justin Bieber, Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen, Milla Jovovich, Christine Taylor, Justin Theroux, Kyle Mooney and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Zoolander 2 will work its way to theaters on Feb. 12.
