Reality TV star Donald Trump's plan to boost his personal brand by traipsing through the political arena has spawned a wide variety of consequences, mostly ranging from general disgust to mental exhaustion. However, his recent proposal to actually ban Muslims from entering the United States possessed the key ingredients (stupidity, mostly) necessary to inspire bipartisan denouncement of Trump's increasingly Islamophopic rhetoric. The hacktivist collective known as Anonymous, who previously hacked Trump's website back in August to share a message with Jon Stewart as he departed The Daily Show, has now joined the call by reportedly kicking off #OpTrump:

Hacktivists successfully downed trumptowerny.com for "several hours" via a distributed denial-of-service attack, the International Business Times reports. "America is not immune to Fascism," a Twitter account purportedly associated with Anonymous stated earlier this week, according to the Daily Dot. "Expect us."

The more the U.S. appears to be targeting Muslims, not just radical Muslims, you can be sure that ISIS will be putting that on their social media campaign. Donald Trump: Think twice before you speak anything. You have been warned.

In an unverified video purportedly linked to Anonymous, the group specifically mentioned Trump's recent remarks on banning Muslims before giving the Republican presidential hopeful a warning:

As previously reported, Friday has already been dubbed "ISIS Trolling Day" by the hacktivist group. "We ask you to show your support and help against ISIS by joining us and trolling them," the group allegedly said in a statement. "Do not think you have to be apart [sic] of Anonymous, anyone can do this and does not require any special skills."
