Stoners, rejoice.

Christmas usually brings free meals for the homeless, but a nonprofit in Denver, Colorado is flipping that tradition on its head by offering something more recreational instead.

The New York Postreports that the charity Cannabis Can handed out 1,000 free joints, along with flyers and business cards, to raise money for people living out on the streets. "'Cannabis can make a difference,' is kind of what we’re standing for," founder Nick DicenzotoldKMGH-TV. "A lot of the people we spoke with really were just like, 'If I had regular access to a shower, and a haircut my life would be so much better. I’d have so much more opportunity,'" he added.

The nonprofit plans to buy several RV’s and provide bathrooms and showers for those in need. For more information or to donate, head over to their website.

As it stands, Colorado is one of the few states where recreational use of marijuana is legal as long as you don’t light up in public.
