At Christmas time last year former Saved by the Bell starDustin Diamond or "Screech" was arrested at a Wisconsin bar after pulling out a knife. He was convicted and will serve a four-month prison sentence starting in early 2016.

CNN reports that Diamond argues that he was defending his girlfriend after a group of rowdy drunk people started acting up at the bar. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and for disorderly conduct. Although he was cleared of the felony, he was still charged with those two misdemeanors.

"I want it to be clear that this situation will not be repeated again," he said in court, highlighting that the altercation was the "single most terrifying experience of my entire life."

Although it's bad news for the former sitcom star, another Saved by the Bell alum, Dennis Haskins, made headlines last week after graduating from college at 65.
