I can't get this image of Hillary Clinton lying down on her sofa, her perfectly manicured feet resting on a coffee table, uttering "I want to believe" as she watches The X-Files reruns. Why, you ask? In a recent New Hampshire campaign stop, Clinton opened up about her thoughts on aliens, and it seems she's more of a Mulder than a Scully.

In a conference with the Conway Daily Sun, Clinton was first asked about UFOs, a topic that she's surprisingly familiar with. "Yes, I'm going to get to the bottom of it," she said. Apparently in 2007 Clinton had told a reporter that the number one topic of freedom-of-information requests her husband got while in office, was UFOs.

The publication also referenced an appearance Bill Clinton made on Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, where he stated that he wouldn't be shocked if aliens had visited Earth. "I think we may have been (visited already). We don't know for sure," she joked (half-joked?) in response to her husband.

While we've been given a vague sense of Clinton's beliefs on most issues, she gave the Sun her most straightforward belief yet after she told reporters that the chairman of her campaign, John Podesta, is really into UFOs.

"He has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out," Clinton told the reporters. "One way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51."

Finally, something I can work with.
