The already stacked cast of the currently-in-progressTupac biopic All Eyez on Me just announced its choice for the crucial role of Jada Pinkett Smith, a former classmate who remained close to Tupac until his untimely death in 1996. Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries) will portray Jada in Benny Boom's highly anticipated film, Variety reports. Days before the official announcement, Graham teased her involvement in the project with a relatively vague 'gram:

All Eyez on Me is said to thoroughly chronicle "the life and legacy" of Tupac, including his life-changing relationships with Notorious B.I.G. (Jamal Woolard) and his mother Afeni Shakur (Danai Gurira), a noted political activist. Demetrius Shipp Jr.will portray Tupac Shakur, a remarkable choice based purely on the visual of Woolard (who previously portrayed Biggie in 2009's Notorious) and Shipp together:

Graham, an accomplished musician and artist in her own right, is clearly another solid choice.
