Last week Gameranx released a video in anticipation of ten video games they're excited for during the first half of 2016. While there appears to be a few sequels/prequels, they all look innovative enough.
The countdown begins with Firewatch, this cool, naturalistic-looking game that follows a newly divorced guy who has to put out forest fires. It sounds pretty mundane, but there appears to be more beneath the surface. There are a couple of shooter games, actions games, and puzzle games, but the number one appears to be the most complex. It's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which looks to be one of the best releases of the Uncharted franchise—that's saying a lot. The third-person shooter game looks like some sort of Heart of Darkness, but with pirates.
