After heating up the Lip Sync Battle stage with killer moves and an epic Beyonce cameo,  Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are bringing their talents to NBC but not in the way you’d expect. Jenna and partner Meegan Kiernan are executive producing an hour-long dance competition that will reportedly offer up a "fresh take" according to the Hollywood Reporter. The untitled project has already been picked up for six episodes.

Details are scare but Jenna will act as a mentor and judge on the series, while Channing will make the occasional appearance. The rhythmically gifted pair first appeared together in the 2006 flick, Step Up. Jenna previously worked as a backup dancer for artists like Missy Elliott, P!nk and Christina Aguilera. Channing, on the other hand, got his start as a stripper. He would later revisit those massively important skills in the Magic Mike films.

It seems like their lives continually parallel one another. Jenna currently stars as Lucy Lane on the CBS series Supergirl.  Meanwhile, Channing is set to star as Gambit once the comic book film centered on the cult favorite X-Men finds its way back on the schedule
