UPDATE 1:54 p.m.: Katt Williams has been granted a $500 bond, his legal team confirms to the Associated Press. He is expected to be released at some point on Thursday. Despite previous reports that Williams' shows this weekend in Louisiana were not in jeopardy, a publicist tells AP that Friday's stop in New Orleans has now been rescheduled for May 6 and Saturday's Bossier City show has been moved to April 30.

Katt Williams was arrested in Georgia on Wednesday in connection with that alleged fight with a teen, with the comedian now reportedly stuck in jail until his next court appearance. Williams was booked into Hall County jail Wednesday afternoon, according to records obtained byPeople. Williams had been wanted on a disorderly conduct charge stemming from the bizarre encounter with a 17-year-old, footage of which rippled across social media last week.

"These charges stem from the fact that Mr. Williams engaged in this criminal activity in a public place, in front of minors, and used obscene, foul language during the commission of this crime," Sgt. Kevin Holbrook, a Gainesville Police Department spokesperson, told People. Williams had previously been free on bond following an allegedly violent encounter with a bodyguard. However, following the release of footage appearing to show Williams fighting with 17-year-old Luke Wash and the subsequent disorderly conduct charge, his bond was revoked.

During a set at Barclays Center on Friday, Williams told the audience he originally thought Wash was 19. Wash, who KSNTreports has also been charged with disorderly conduct, told the Daily Mail his side of the story in an interview last week. "We were playing a game of soccer and I just thought it was a soccer game," Wash said. According to Wash's account, the comedian "took [him] over to a secluded area" and asked him to throw a punch. "I don't know if he was sour but it is what it is," Wash recalled.

Katt Williams is set to make an initial court appearance on Thursday, KSNTreports. A publicist has confirmed that the comedian's previously scheduled shows in New Orleans and Bossier City (on Friday and Saturday, respectively) have not been canceled.
