Remember when Giuliana Rancic said that Zendaya's dreadlocks for the 2015 Oscars probably smelled like patchouli oil and weed? Yeah, it wasn't Rancic's brightest moment, but at least she apologized for the racially insensitive comment. After that controversial incident it seemed like no one would come for Zendaya again, but apparently Rancic's moment of shame wasn't warning enough. Comedy actress and writer Julie Klausner took to Twitter Saturday night to body shame Zendaya after watching her accept an award at the Kids' Choice Awards.

Klausner reportedly took issue with how skinny Zendaya appeared while she stood onstage thanking her fans for allowing her to be a role model, according to E! Online. Klausner initiated the back-and-forth Twitter feud when she called Zendaya a "thinspo model for your impressionable tweens," and then added, "You don't have to have an eating disorder to attend the Kids' Choice Awards....but it helps!" Zendaya fired back at Klausner soon after, saying, "Do you find this funny? I will write another paragraph to educate you aswell #youreallywannabenext?" Klausner responded with a patronizing "Can't wait." Zendaya then tweeted, "Now....everyone go look in the mirror at their beautiful body, and love that s--t #thickgirlswinning #skinnygirlswinning #weallwinning."

That wasn't the end, though. Klausner brought into the conversation Melissa McCarthy, who appeared noticeably thinner last year, before she continued to voice her concern "with the generation of girls who aspire to look like Zendaya." After hoards of Zendaya fans came for Klausner on Twitter, her next move was to offer an olive branch: "1) all women are beautiful and 2) Zendaya hates Jews?" she joked. It goes without saying that people on Zendaya's side didn't see the humor in that peace offering. Hopefully Klausner has learned her lesson, but for now the embarrassment of the still-existing tweets ought to do the trick.

I'm concerned with the generation of girls who aspire to look like Zendaya. I do not worry about Zendaya's health or care whether she eats.
Let's not fight. Here is my olive branch to Zendaya fans- can we just all agree that 1) all women are beautiful and 2) Zendaya hates Jews?
