When Robert Downey Jr. isn't feeling something, he gladly lets us know. Just ask indie films. Thankfully, the full-time Iron Man is definitely feeling fresh Spider-Man recruitTom Holland and is more than happy to sing his praises. As for an Iron Man appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming? Downey Jr. says no contract ink has been exchanged just yet.

"To me, Spider-Man was my whole deal," the Captain America: Civil War star told Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday. "He was funny, he was cool, he was young like us." Though he admits he can't really relate to the whole radioactive spider thing, Downey Jr. is stoked about the "fantastic" Holland taking over the role. He would apparently be more stoked, however, if Holland wasn't a British guy.

Our guy Robert was also quick to (jokingly?) take credit for the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. "I get to take credit for everything," Downey Jr. told Kimmel. "There's no Marvel Cinematic Universe without me. I did everything." As previously reported, the "everything" Downey Jr. is speaking of will apparently not include a fourth Iron Man movie. "I don't think that's in the cards," the actor told Entertainment Weeklylast month. Bummer.

Thanks for this whole Marvel Cinematic Universe thing, Robert Downey Jr. What a generous guy you are.
