What's it take for a common, non-superhero person to achieve the same fitness heights as Chris Hemsworth? Apparently it takes an unbelievable amount of food. Bobby Holland Hanton, a stuntman who's been doubling for Hemsworth since Snow White and the Huntsman in 2012, broke down his seemingly impossible diet for BuzzFeed Tuesday, and let's just say we really hope this guy's a massive foodie because damn.
In order to get "anywhere near [Hemsworth’s] size," Hanton has to smash roughly 35 meals a day. Nope. Not a typo. This dude has to eat 35 meals a day to achieve that enviable Thor physique. Worth it?
"Chris is naturally a monster and all he has to do is look at weights and he grows," Hanton said, adding that he usually trains twice a day. "I'm not going to lie," he admitted. "It's hard to maintain." In addition to holding the very braggable title of Healthy Guy Who Eats 35 Times a Day, Hanton boasts a stunt double resume that's just as massive as his Thor-sized muscles.
Hanson has also stepped in for Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, Christian Bale, and—conveniently enough—Mr. Captain America himself, Chris Evans. With Thor: Ragnarok currently gearing up for a November 2017 release, that means the 35-meals-a-day diet won't be coming to a halt for Hanton anytime soon.
