According to Jon Snow himself, Kit Harington, there's "a sexism that happens towards men."

2016 has been a hell of a year for one Kit Harington, a.k.a. that guy who once played a mean game of tennis with Andy Samberg while on a Jon Snow hiatus. The Game of Thrones star got back together with Rose Leslie, admitted to lying to the entire Thrones cast about his own fate, and even used knowledge of that fate to avoid a parking ticket. For his latest headline-crashing act, Harington is tackling an issue that's apparently close to his heart: sexism against dudes.

"I like to think of myself as more than a head of hair or a set of looks," Harington told the Sunday Times Magazine in a recent interview, according toMashable. "It's demeaning. Yes, in some ways you could argue I've been employed for a look I have. But there's a sexism that happens towards men."

Harington adds that he's sick of getting questions about his hair and personal relationships. "If you said to a girl, 'Do you like being called a babe?' and she said, 'No, not really,' she'd be absolutely right," Harington said. "There's definitely a sexism in our industry that happens towards women, and there is towards men as well." Harington's comments, of course, haven't exactly hit the right chord among Thrones fans:

Kit Harington will find it much easier to keep getting work if he insists on keeping his shirt on than a woman would. That is sexism.

Sure, Kit Harington, you can be upset that you're only hired for your looks. Call it shallow, unfair, but don't call it "reverse sexism."

Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) lives up to his brand identity, confuses shallowness of visual culture for anti-men sexism https://t.co/f8bGSoTf2F

Damn. If only there was a memorable Ygritte quote about Jon Snow and knowing nothing that we could use here.
