Before Blac Chyna made peace with the Kardashians at a mood-appropriate location (Dave & Buster's!) in June, the vibes were apparently hella treacherous. In a just-released clip from the increasingly masterful docuseries Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we see that Kris Jenner eventually had to just straight up confront Rob Kardashian about the bad blood brewing between him and his sister, Khloé.
"I get that you're in this new relationship, that's amazing for you, but it doesn't mean that you can't still be close to all of us," Kris told Rob whenever this was filmed. "That's how life works."
Rob agreed, but added that his then-fresh relationship with Blac Chyna had made things less-than-cozy with some of the fam.
"Y'all aren't that welcoming of this relationship, so you can't expect me to just be like, "Oh, let's hang out and everything's cool and fine,'" Rob said. "It's not that easy." Then Kris hit him with some wisdom: "You know [Khloé]'s had a hard year and is going through a bad time with all the Lamar stuff still "She couldn't need her family more than she does now, and that includes you."
Though this clip shows that Rob and Khloé were thankfully able to set aside their differences and move on as a united front, reports surrounding the genesis of ChyRo show that this truce was a long time coming. Way back in January, TMZreported that Khloé actually kicked Rob and Chyna out of her house while screaming "What the fuck are you doing in my house?" Ah yes. What a difference seven months can make!
We'll get to see much more of ChyRo when the Keeping Up With the Kardashians spin-off Rob & Chyna premieres Sept. 11.
