Tyler, The Creator is set to fill the void left by his late Adult Swim seriesLoiter Squad with a new series on VICELAND. The A&E-owned network is currently developing a series based on a show from his Golf Media app, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Though no additional information regarding Tyler x VICELAND has been released, we can safely say it will be very not boring.

Like the app itself, the series comes from independent media and technology company Whalerock Industries. As studious app enthusiasts will note, that's the same team behind the fleet of Kardashian-Jenner apps that have each proven wildly successful. The Golf Media app, interestingly enough, was initially rumored to be a web-based television channel devoted to Golf-related content.

Speaking with Jimmy Kimmel last June, Tyler explained his inspiration behind bringing Golf Media into existence. "I made this app thing, I don't even like calling it an app," Tyler said. "I want my own television network, but since people don't watch TV that much no more, no offense, I basically put my world in this one spot."

Loiter Squad, which aired on Adult Swim from 2012 to 2014, was officially confirmed by Tyler as deceased in a July 2015 interview with Weld for Birmingham. "It opened the doors up for other things that my boys want to do," Tyler said at the time. "That was a great thing, but we're off that."

This year also stands as the year Tyler brought his notorious Twitter handle, @FuckTyler, to an end. Before hitting the stage at AFROPUNK this weekend, Tyler expounded on why he's opted for the noticeably fuck-less @TylerTheCreator instead. "My stock just went up because of that name change," Tyler said. "Only idiots don't understand that."
